ANJALI HOUSEA center for underpriviledged children in Siem ReapCreated in 2005 by the Angkor Photo Association, Anjali House is a non-profit organisation providing refuge, care and education for more than 100 under-privileged children between the ages of 4 and 16 years old, in Siem Reap, Cambodia. At Anjali House we believe that no child should be forced to beg or work. We believe that they have the right to enjoy their childhood - to learn, play, make friends and grow in a safe and happy environment. These are basic rights that no child should be denied.Visit Anjali House's official website & contact us! The Anjali Photo Workshops was initiatied in 2005 by Magnum photographer Antoine d'Agata during the first Angkor Photo Festival. After this first experience, the festival set up Anjali House - which is now a registered Cambodian NGO providing food, shelter and education for more than 100 under-privileged children. During the annual 10-day workshop, and thanks to Canon support, Anjali kids work for a week with young photographers from the region who volunteer their time to tutor the children, and the children's photographs are shown at a special 'Children's Day' during the Angkor Photo Festival. A big Thank You to our 21 supporters who helped us reach our fundraising goal for the 2011 ANJALI PHOTO WORKSHOPS presented on ULULE !> 2011 Anjali Photo WorkshopsResults of the 2011 Anjali Photo Workshops: Part 1Part 2Part 3COORDINATOR : Sohrab Hura - India2011 TUTORS : Kim Hak - CambodiaSofian Hamid - Malaysia Tanzim Ibne Wahab - BangladeshSean Lee - SingaporeMansi Midha - India Yen Nie - Malaysia Sheila Zhao - China and participation of Paolo Patrizi, Italy> Results of the 2010 Anjali Photo WorkshopsClick above to view a slideshow of pictures taken by Anjali kids during the 2010 Anjali Photo Workshops.
